Data Controller

The Baralho Cigano app is provided by Wanderley Neppel, the sole person responsible for the app, under the trade name iLikedit, based in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Privacy contact: contato.ilikedit@gmail.com.

This policy explains how data is handled in the app and applies to users aged 13 and over. The app is not intended for children under 13.

Data stored on the device

The app locally stores preferences, the daily card and date, usage history and settings, selected theme and card back, unlocked items, and access plan status. This information remains on the device until the user clears it or uninstalls the app. Some data may be included in Android backup and restore, depending on the device and account settings.

Cloud synchronization and anonymous identifier

To enable instant restoration of preferences (such as selected theme and card back) and reliable daily reading quota management across reinstalls, the app uses Firebase Cloud Firestore and anonymous authentication. This data is associated solely with an anonymous technical device identifier (persistent, irreversible device hash), without collecting names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or creating nominal accounts.

Artificial Intelligence Oracle consultations

The "AI Oracle" feature provides interpretive card readings processed via secure cloud servers (Firebase Cloud Functions integrated with Artificial Intelligence language model providers, including Google Gemini and OpenRouter). To generate readings, only the drawn card identifiers and names, the app language, and the chosen consultation category (General, Love, or Business) are transmitted. We do not collect, request, or transmit open-ended text questions, sensitive data, or personally identifiable information to AI models. Generated readings are strictly for entertainment, personal reflection, and cultural purposes, and do not constitute or replace professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Technical, usage and diagnostic data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage in aggregate and improve stability, features, and user experience. Data may include usage events, accessed Compose screens, completed readings, access tier (Free, VIP, or classic Premium), device model, operating system, and technical identifiers.

We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reports. Reports may contain device and operating-system information, app version, crash time, technical app state, diagnostic logs, and anonymous session identifiers for rapid stability fixes.

Advertising and mediation partners

The app uses Google AdMob and certified mediation partners, including Unity Ads, to display ads, including rewarded video ads used to unlock consultations or items for free. Depending on region, user choices, and device settings, partner networks may process IP address, Android advertising ID (AAID), technical device data, and ad interactions to provide, limit, and measure ads.

Where required by law, personalized advertising relies on consent. Users can manage ad preferences and reset or delete the advertising ID through Android or Google Account settings.

Purchases and subscriptions (Google Play Billing)

In-app purchases and recurring subscriptions (AI Oracle VIP monthly and yearly plans) are processed exclusively by Google Play Billing. The developer does not receive or store credit card numbers or financial details. The app receives only encrypted purchase proofs needed to validate and activate benefits. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time through Google Play Store subscription settings.

Notifications and permissions

Internet and network-state access is used for ads, quota synchronization, analytics, diagnostics, and AI Oracle processing. On supported Android versions, the app may request notification permission for reminders, which can be declined or revoked in device settings.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide and maintain the app; save preferences and unlocks; process AI consultations; validate subscriptions and purchases; display, limit, and measure ads; detect failures and fraud; maintain security; and comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable, legal bases include performance of the requested service, legitimate interests in security and product improvement, compliance with legal duties, and consent for personalized ads where required.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data. Necessary operational data is handled by trusted partners subject to strict security and confidentiality duties:

International transfers

Providers may process data outside the user's country, including in the United States and other locations where they operate infrastructure. Applicable legal, contractual and provider safeguards are used for such transfers.

Retention and security

Local data is kept until deletion, app-data clearing or uninstallation, subject to Android-managed backups. Data processed by Google is retained according to the settings, purposes, retention policies and legal duties of those services. Support messages are kept as long as necessary to answer the request, prevent abuse and comply with law.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet-connected system is completely risk-free.

User rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Brazilian LGPD and, where relevant, the GDPR, users may request confirmation and access, correction, deletion, anonymization, restriction or objection, portability where applicable, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent.

Requests may be sent to contato.ilikedit@gmail.com with enough information to understand and securely verify the request. Additional information may be required to prevent fraud. Users may also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority or the competent authority in their country.

Deletion and controls

Users can delete local data through Android Settings > Apps > Baralho Cigano > Storage > Clear data, or by uninstalling the app. Notification and advertising-ID controls are available in device settings. Requests concerning support data may be emailed to us. Data held exclusively by Google must be managed through the relevant Google Account controls and channels.

Teenagers and children

The app's declared target audience is age 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Teenagers should use the app with parental or guardian permission where local law requires it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided data should contact us so the matter can be reviewed and the data deleted where applicable.

Automated decisions and content

We do not make automated decisions producing legal effects for users. Card readings are intended for entertainment and personal reflection and do not replace professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app, providers or law. Material changes will be communicated through available app or store-page channels. The current version will always be published on this page.
