Data Controller

The Baralho Cigano app is provided by Wanderley Neppel, the sole person responsible for the app, under the trade name iLikedit, based in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Privacy contact: contato.ilikedit@gmail.com.

This policy explains how data is handled in the app and applies to users aged 13 and over. The app is not intended for children under 13.

Data stored on the device

The app locally stores preferences, the daily card and date, usage history and settings, selected theme and card back, unlocked items, and premium access status. This information remains on the device until the user clears it or uninstalls the app. Some data may be included in Android backup and restore, depending on the device and account settings.

Technical, usage and diagnostic data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage in aggregate and improve stability, features and user experience. Data may include usage events, sessions, app version, device model, operating system, approximate country or region, and technical identifiers.

We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reports. Reports may contain device and operating-system information, app version, crash time, technical app state, diagnostic logs, and installation identifiers.

Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to display ads, including rewarded ads used to unlock certain items. Depending on region, user choices and device settings, Google and its partners may process IP address, Android advertising ID, device data, ad interactions, usage information and approximate location inferred from the IP address to provide, limit, measure and protect advertising.

Where required by law, personalized advertising relies on consent. Users can manage ad preferences and reset or delete the advertising ID through Android or Google Account settings. Available options and their names vary by system version.

Purchases and premium access

Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. The developer does not receive card numbers or banking details. The app may receive information needed to confirm and restore a purchase, such as the purchased product, transaction status and purchase identifier or token. Google Play handles payment processing and financial record retention under Google's policies and applicable law.

Notifications and permissions

Internet and network-state access is used for ads, analytics, diagnostics and purchases. On supported Android versions, the app may request notification permission for reminders and features selected by the user. Permission can be denied or revoked in device settings.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to provide and maintain the app; save preferences and unlocks; process and restore purchases; display, limit and measure ads; detect failures and fraud; maintain security; comply with legal obligations; and improve the service.

Where applicable, the legal bases are performance of the requested service or contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in security, diagnostics and improvement, and consent for personalized advertising or other processing that requires it. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by Google LLC and its affiliates through Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics; by public authorities when legally required; and by providers strictly necessary for operation and bound by security and confidentiality duties.

International transfers

Providers may process data outside the user's country, including in the United States and other locations where they operate infrastructure. Applicable legal, contractual and provider safeguards are used for such transfers.

Retention and security

Local data is kept until deletion, app-data clearing or uninstallation, subject to Android-managed backups. Data processed by Google is retained according to the settings, purposes, retention policies and legal duties of those services. Support messages are kept as long as necessary to answer the request, prevent abuse and comply with law.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet-connected system is completely risk-free.

User rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Brazilian LGPD and, where relevant, the GDPR, users may request confirmation and access, correction, deletion, anonymization, restriction or objection, portability where applicable, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent.

Requests may be sent to contato.ilikedit@gmail.com with enough information to understand and securely verify the request. Additional information may be required to prevent fraud. Users may also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority or the competent authority in their country.

Deletion and controls

Users can delete local data through Android Settings > Apps > Baralho Cigano > Storage > Clear data, or by uninstalling the app. Notification and advertising-ID controls are available in device settings. Requests concerning support data may be emailed to us. Data held exclusively by Google must be managed through the relevant Google Account controls and channels.

Teenagers and children

The app's declared target audience is age 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Teenagers should use the app with parental or guardian permission where local law requires it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided data should contact us so the matter can be reviewed and the data deleted where applicable.

Automated decisions and content

We do not make automated decisions producing legal effects for users. Card readings are intended for entertainment and personal reflection and do not replace professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app, providers or law. Material changes will be communicated through available app or store-page channels. The current version will always be published on this page.
